INCENTIVES/REBATES

Alternative Fuels Incentive Grant Program

School districts, municipalities, nonprofit organizations, and businesses in Pennsylvania can receive up to $300,000 through the Alternative Fuels Incentive Grant Program (AFIG) when deploying Level 2 charging stations or DC fast chargers that service light- and medium-duty fleets. PECO – Level 2 Commercial EV Charging Pilot

The PECO Level 2 Commercial EV Charging Pilot program provides rebates for make-ready costs associated with the installation of new qualifying Level 2 EV chargers. The rebate amount is calculated as the lesser of $2,000 per charging port or 50% of eligible make-ready costs. Rebates are limited to 20 charging ports per PECO customer. Visit the PECO Level 2 Commercial EV Charging Pilot program website.

 

PECO – Public Benefit Program

PECO commercial and industrial customers that don’t qualify as public locations can receive rebates for 50% of the cost of electric vehicle (EV) charging equipment, installation, and make-ready work. Eligible customers are subject to a maximum incentive of $60,000 over the duration of the program. Visit the PECO Public Benefit Program website.

Alternative Fuel Infrastructure Tax Credit

Qualifying businesses, including non-profits and municipalities, may be eligible to a tax credit of up to 30% when purchasing and installing electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure. The 30C tax credit now covers up to $100,000 per charger installed in locations that meet certain geographic requirements. Businesses must claim the credit on their federal tax return.
